Welcome to GPS WEDNESDAYS.
Who am I? Why am I here? What was I born to do?
These are life’s most important conversations.
They hold the keys to living our deepest truths
and so fulfilling our highest potential and greatest promise.
Together let us take an afternoon walk
and touch these truths through the lens and story of one of us
– a fellow human being journeying through the same questions.
Each week we feature a guest from yet another
walk of life, who opens up to us his or her journey.
Together then, we are active participants
and partners in this journey.
In so doing, week after week, we help each other take further steps
– they can be baby steps or they can be giant leaps forward –
in the lifelong journey to our peak selves.
What’s the use of living if we didn’t use the gifts that we have been given? It is like an artist having paint & brushes, yet ended up staring at an empty canvas for the rest of his life. We need to push each other to greater heights, by getting into the vicious cycle of discovering/rediscovering & using/reusing our gifts towards a mission greater than self.
Earning and saving money while living and discovering your genius, purpose and service at the same time is a blessing that we should be thankful for because not everyone is given such an opportunity to grow as an individual and be the best version of themselves while financially stable.
Discovering your Genius takes a lot of time and experience before you are able to process and realize it. But living with it makes a difference. It feels good to live a life of a purpose, knowing who you want to serve.
The importance of GPS to one’s self. Discern and listen to the voice. This will help you figure out how to be relevant. Doing what you want while earning is not usual, but seeing Mikey thinks that it is possible. I’m so happy to see people do what brings them joy without considering people’s validation, and also gaining or earning from it.
Discernment never stops. We’re never done finding out more about ourself. We’re never done challenging ourselves to be better and better. Therefore there will always be a plethora of experiences and callings to discern about.
“Not living up to their full potential” in the gaming industry is reflective of an epidemic in the Filipino society.
