Our registered users (the “Members”) share their identities, engage with their network, exchange knowledge and insights, post and view relevant content, learn and find opportunities. Content on some of our Services is available to non-members (the “Visitors”).
By signing up and creating an account and/or using the Sites/Services, you are deemed to have agreed to this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use and sharing of your personal information, such as, but not limited to, your name, age, date of birth and gender, under these Terms.
On certain instances, you may be asked, through various features found on the Site/Services, to give your consent to the access, use and sharing of personal information provided by you.
We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. Should we make material changes to the Privacy Policy, we will provide notice through our Services or by other means to provide you the opportunity to review the changes before they become effective. If you object to any changes, you may close your account and discontinue using the Services. Your continued use of our Services after any changes to this Privacy Policy means that you are consenting to the updated Privacy Policy. A. Information You Provide
Registration
To create an account, you provide personal data which includes your name, email address and/or mobile number and password.
If you register for Premium Services and Premium Subscriptions, you must provide certain payment and billing information directly to our third-party payment processor, such as your name, email address, billing address. We do not collect or store financial account information or sensitive cardholder data, such as full credit card numbers or card authentication data.
Profile
You have choices about the information on your profile, including but not limited to, your education, work experience, skills, photo, city or area and endorsements. Profile information helps you get more from our Site/Services, including building a network of partners and collaborators, and helping recruiters and business opportunities find you. It is your choice whether or not to include sensitive information on your profile.
Posting and Uploading
We collect personal data from you when you provide, post or upload it to our Sites/Services, including but not limited to, instances when you fill out a form, respond to a survey, submit a resume or apply for or save jobs or send invitations.
B. Information From Others
Content and News
You and others may post content that includes information about you on our Sites/Services (as part of blog posts, events, feed updates, comments, photos, videos, etc.). Unless you opt-out, we may collect public information about you, such as images and quotes taken during events, professional-related news and accomplishments (e.g. patents granted, professional recognition, conference speakers, projects, etc.) and make it available as part of our Sites/Services (e.g. suggestions for your profile, or notifications of mentions in the news.)
Partners
We may also receive personal data about you when you use the services of our customers and partners.
C. Messages
We may collect information about you when you send, receive, or engage in public messages in connection with our Sites/Services. However, private messages shall remain strictly confidential.

C. Advertising, Marketing and Related Services
We do not share your personal data with any third-party advertisers or networks for their advertising without your consent. We may use data and information about Members for invitations and communications promoting memberships and networks, and engagement of some of our Services.
D. Customer Support
We may use the data provided by you to respond to and resolve complaints and service issues (e.g., bugs).
E. Security and Investigations
We may use your data (including your communications) if we think it is necessary for security purposes or to investigate possible fraud or other violations of our Terms or this Privacy Policy.

If you avail of our Premium Services, the processing of your payment information will be done by a third-party payment processor, and you will be routed to a secure payment flow controlled by that payment processor to complete the payment transaction.
D. Legal Disclosures
It is possible that we will need to disclose information about you when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process or if the disclosure is reasonably necessary to (1) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or to assist government enforcement agencies; (2) enforce our agreements with you, (3) investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, (4) protect the security or integrity of our Services (such as by sharing with companies facing similar threats); or (5) exercise or protect the rights and safety of Ignite Founders Ventures, our Members, personnel, or others. We will notify Members about legal demands for their personal data when appropriate in our judgment, unless prohibited by law or court order or when the request is an emergency. We may dispute such demands when we believe, in our discretion, that the requests are overbroad, vague or lack proper authority, but we do not promise to challenge every demand.
We guarantee that we shall exert diligent efforts to protect and safeguard your personal information and ensure that the same is used only for legitimate purposes. We shall implement reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect the personal data you submitted from loss, unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you understand that there may be circumstances beyond our reasonable control that may result in the instability or insufficiency of said measures. You agree that, under such circumstances, we shall not be liable or responsible for any loss, unauthorized access, use or disclosure of any information that we may have collected.
A. Data Retention
We retain the personal data you provide while your account is in existence or as needed to provide you our Site/Services.
B. User Access and Control over Personal Data
You are in control of any personal data you submit and provide to us through the Site/Services. If you would like to access, modify, correct, or update the personal data we have about you, if you would like to change your preferences for communications from us, or if you would like to withdraw the personal data that you have provided to us, you can let us know by contacting us through the Contact Information provided below and detailing the nature and extent of your requests to us.
C. Account Closure
If you choose to close your account, your personal data will generally stop being visible to others on our Sites/Services within twenty-four (24) hours. We generally delete closed account information within thirty (30) days of account closure, except as noted below. Your personal data will be disposed or discarded in a secure and practical manner we may deem appropriate.
We may retain your personal data even after you have closed your account if reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including law enforcement requests), meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, or fulfill your request to “unsubscribe” from further messages from us. We will retain de-personalized information after your account has been closed.
Information you have shared with others will remain visible after you closed your account or deleted the information from your own profile or mailbox, and we do not control data that other Members copied out of our Services.

This Privacy Policy applies only to the information we collect on our Site/Services. You are encouraged to read the privacy policies of other websites that you link to or from our Site/Services.
As our servers may be located in other jurisdictions, your personal data may be transferred to, stored, used and processed in a jurisdiction other than the Philippines. By accessing this Site and submitting your personal data to us, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your personal data outside the Philippines.
